I bought this battery for my husband's HP nc8430 battery.
Positive aspects:
1. Extends the laptop power to ~ 9 hours
2. Slightly raises the angle of the laptop so typing is easier
3. It came with its own battery power charger (similar to the laptop power supply BUT with lower power spec)
4. Can hotswap in or out
5. Can charge in 90 minutes
Negative aspects:
1. Can be little bit pricey
2. Spec says up to 10 hours; in reality expect 8 to 9 hours
3. Adds few more pounds to the laptop carry weight
Overall, worth the money in my opinion. If you want to see some picture, goto trendydads dotcom.
